On Saturday 28th June 2025, Linkin Park took the stage at Wembley Stadium for what was billed as their biggest show ever. Part of the From Zero World Tour, the night was a celebration of resilience, connection, and the enduring power of music to move us—even when words fall short.
🎤 A Showman with Soul
While the September show at the O2 may have edged this one in terms of polish, Wembley had something else: Mike Shinoda’s raw, infectious joy. He worked tirelessly to engage the crowd, not with flashy theatrics, but with genuine warmth and effort. He may not have Freddie Mercury’s flamboyance (and really, who does?), but there was something deeply compelling about watching someone who could have walked away from it all instead choose to stand tall, share the moment, and revel in it with his fans.
💔 The Emotional Core
The highlight of the night—without question—was “Waiting for the End.” It’s always been one of Linkin Park’s finest, a song that threads vulnerability and strength into something transcendent. But since Chester Bennington’s passing, it carries a heavier weight. Hearing it live, in a stadium filled with thousands of voices, was a moment that hit hard. It wasn’t just nostalgia—it was reverence.
