On Sunday 25th May 2025, Anfield erupted in a sea of red as Liverpool lifted the Premier League trophy after a 1–1 draw against Crystal Palace. It was a moment decades in the making—the first time since 1990 that the Reds hoisted the league title in front of a packed home crowd. For me, it marked something even more personal: the completion of my domestic treble of trophy lifts.
🏆 My Treble Journey
- League Cup 2012: A dramatic penalty shootout win over Cardiff City at Wembley, with Kenny Dalglish at the helm.
- FA Cup 2022: Another shootout triumph, this time over Chelsea, sealed by Kostas Tsimikas at Wembley.
- Premier League 2025: The crowning glory, lifted at Anfield in front of thousands of jubilant fans.
🔴 The Atmosphere at Anfield
The energy was electric. Flags waved, flares lit the sky, and chants echoed through the stands. Captain Virgil van Dijk led the team up the podium, and as the trophy was raised, the stadium roared in unison. It was a moment of pride, joy, and reflection—not just for the club, but for every supporter who’s lived through the highs and lows.
🎉 A Personal Milestone
Being there to witness all three domestic trophy lifts—League Cup, FA Cup, and now the Premier League—feels like completing a pilgrimage. Each one carries its own story, its own emotion. But this one? This was the summit.
